Two games more, two defeats more. It’s very difficult period for me like a coach, for the players too.
Ploiesti. We knew that we had to face the team that is very strong and very well balanced. We analyzed and showed to our players the strengths of this team and its very only few weaknesses. When we play a team like Ploiesti and we obtained the home court advantage, we have to play. Before the game I asked guys to be more self-confident, to trust each other and to help each other. Generally game wasn’t bad, we fought, but too many lost balls and free throws …
Thanks for our fans who supported us even after a bad start. We felt this support, and the team managed to stay calm.
Pitesti. Strong team, but vincible. In that game we were very nervous and shot poorly, made a bad decisions on offense and defense, we wasn’t aggressive on offense, but I need to say that Pitesti was played good. Big lost was Marius because of injury, we lost player who was a leader in previous games, we lost pg backup, backup for weakness position. In another hand, Romanian players had good chance to show themselves. I get mad, when I see that they don’t perform at that level. At the same time, I don’t thought it’s a good idea to keep them on the bench. I was tried to find players who is ready to play hard, players who can play with heart, with personality and immediately put the game into the direction what we wanted it to go. But…
The result of the game was very disappointing. Obviously, I was frustrated. It’s always like this when you lose.
The crucial point is that every team has to learn how to win. Sooner or later. It might be now, it might be later, but we have to learn it. The sooner, the better. With a new team, when we head into a important game, we can see who is who, who will support you, or who will shy away.
I said for guys that we must win together, we must feel like a unit going against the opponent. Every game, every practice, every day, together. It’s that simple.
So, we have to move on. We can’t to stay and keep looking backwards.
I can hardly wait for the Monday’s game. I hope for better, for a win because we need this win as fresh air. Good luck on all the upcoming games.
I (and not only) think that this next game is a crucial one so we are keeping our fingers crossed and shouting our lungs out. I’m sure if everyone will just do their jobs things can’t go wrong.

To stand by a team who is winning is easy, you feel great after each game, but teams can fail sometimes, this is a good chance to stand by a team which needs support and just fight for results, maybe we succeed to lift the spirit and achieve the goals. It’s all in the respect and team work so I stand by the team and wish you all well and good fortune!
It is great this win with Steaua!
We can consider this a new start.
I am confident with you, and your team.
Go to Timisoara for a great win. You can do it!!!
Good luck!
Coach, with all the respect, I think that you have to get rid of Sheard!
Please do it fast, until he’s not burying you!
Please, please put Bulancea, or Cormos, or SantaCluas,………… but NO MORE of this SHEARD.
Thank you very much!
Good luck!
Congratulations! Great victory, great second half!
Keep climbing the standings, higher and higher!
Sekmes!
After yesterday mad-mad game, I retract every comments on Sheard.
The boy it’s OK, just tell him clearly what to do, and he will do it!
Good luck!
Sheard has done well yesterday…but still…i can’t wait to see the team playing with Cooley at point guard and Sheard at shooting guard, I think those are the best positions for both of them…congrats by the way…
for the 3rd quarter… ^_^
Congratulations!
At halftime, the standings look much better then when you last posted here
And of course the end counts, I believe it can be even better, a little bit.
Great game against Medias, won the shooting categories, 2p and ft, with 3p almost equal, the rebounding, and the assists by much! That seems to me like good defense and good team-play, however lost the turnovers.. very much Lithuania national team kind of statistics
Cooley playing lot of minutes (40 in this one).. Maybe with Marius back can take a little off him (?).. Would be nice if you’d shear your thoughts here, about the first half and the team’s progress, I guess more people read than write..
Hope he is better now (Marius), wish him all the best, and to you and the whole team as well!
Have good rest, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
